The memories of HA class

School has been stressful these days. Test and exams really make us stressful. We are left with 1 month for all revisions. We have roleplays, presentations and written test for the whole week! Ahhhhhhhh~ Get us a break!

The HA Class hopes to mix around with the HB Class. Be united and mix around with us soon. We shall go out together the next time. Teachers have been commenting about the HB Class that they have better attitude towards schoolwork instead of the HA Class.

Well people! I'm back with the latest and exciting happenings in school after the 3 weeks holidays!

Well, after the 3 weeks holidays, it's going to be another 9 weeks of hard theory and practical. The lecturers had strongly reminded us to bring, not only our physical body back, but also our heart, mind and soul. It's going to be a tough and tiring 9 weeks with the lecturers.

Basically, the first week after the term is just cutting of Convex Haircut and theory lessons with Miss Ang and Mr Woo.

We've learned how to massage the client's hair with our hands and fingers within afew hours and did real life models practicing. Mr Woo have been teaching us on Effective Telephone Techniques, while Mr Lim concentrates on teaching us Convex Haircut.

The new batch of April Intake students are still quite stranger to us, THE SENIORS! Hope things will change for the better and hope to mix more with them soon.

We had our project presentation today during Mr Woo's lesson. Mr Eugene Ong came to visit us and also to give comment & judge our presentations. The outcome was rather smooth and nice. I'm sure the lecturers and Mr Ong are quite happy with our work. We're going to do better the next time.

SCHOOL'S OUT PEOPLE!

It's the last day of the term! & we're so happy about the holidays!
Well, but somehow I'm going to miss the whole class for 3 weeks! Hahahahaha!

Mr Eugene Ong came to our school to give us some lessons today. He took over Mr Woo's class and taught us something that we can never learn outside. The lesson was interesting.

Finished lesson and had our PCS theory test. The test was rather hard though. Hope most of us had well prepared for the test :DDDDDDD Goodluck people!

Mr Lim took our practical lessons for theory drawing head sheets (: Hahahaha! The session was fun though. Finally understand the meaning of Convex after explaining and going through the head sheet. Finished class early because some of us have to do the Hair Wash test again.

School's short today. Mr Woo cannot make it for lessons today. And in that case, Mr Lim took over his lesson. Had theory lessons and Mr Lim brought up a very funny question, " Why do you guys always look like you guys dont have enough sleep"? Hahahaha! I find this question interesting!

Was released at 11am for lunch and can go home after that. Those who didn't pass the cutting test have to stay back to re-test at 1pm.

Hair cutting exam today :DDDDDDD

Had our hair cutting exam today. Total divided into 2 groups for the exam. 1 to 20 during the first afternoon, 1pm to 3pm. The rest during the late afternoon, 3pm to 5pm.

Some of us took the risk to cut concave blunt cut (: Hahahaha! Though it's hard, but we did managed to get the desired result :DDDDDD

Both lecturers, Mr Lim and Miss Leong guided us through and asked alot of questions along the way. Managed to answer their questions. All of us are all well prepared.

Well, the weather isn't any better today. It's raining the whole day. PE lessons was cancelled due to the rain.

Had a super long lunch break and went for Hair Cutting class. Mr Lim suggested us to either continue on the concave haircut or restart a new guide line. It went smoothly. Yunyi finally get the desired result of a concave haircut and Mr Lim is very impressed.

Theory on Convex Haircut :DDDDDDDDDDDD

Mr Lim started on a new chapter today. Teaching us Convex Haircutting. The theory was rather tough. Many questions that we wanted to asked, but words cannot be brought out of our mouths.

Mr Woo has been busy preparing our upcoming test on the 13 March 2008. Our roleplay test on Customer Service. We guys have been mugging with the test too, studying and preparing scripts for the test. Goodluck Guys!

Blowdry is FUN!

Had blowdry lesson today during Miss Ang's class. I finally got the effect on the volume Miss Ang desired. Hahahahas! Had 2 hours of blowdry lesson today!

Well, blowdry and hairwash test is coming! Everyone is pulling up their socks. Hahahahas! People, dont give up and do your very best yeah!

Hair cutting was our first lesson for the day :D
Was raining heavily and the weather was super cold. Best for sleeping!
Hahahahahas. Mr Lim taught us something new today.
One lenght concave blunt cut!

It was rather interesting learning that new cut. Everyone seems to be enjoying cutting concave instead of the one lenght straight cut. Mr Lim go through each and every single procedure of the concave haircut with us. And it seems to work, everyone understands. But still, there are some areas to improve on.

LLA lesson was cancelled due to the amount of students who haven finish doing their assignments. Most of us went to take attendance and went home.

Today's timetable was rearranged by Mr Woo. Instead of having his lesson until 11am, he changed into 10am. Had 1 hour break before Miss Ang's class.

Went for Miss Ang's class and was shocked to recieve the news of having a hairwash and blowdry mock test. We didn't even get prepared. Prepared the usual stuffs and getting ready for the test. Register 1 to 20 be the operator and 21 to 40 be the model. Everyone seems to be enjoying the process of the hairwashing. 1 hour 15 minutes test is too short for us. Everyone of us rushed out the work.

Washed the model's hair and rush to the cutting studio for blowdrying. The criterial for the blowdrying is to be able to see the straight and 0 degree elevation and a little volume at the bottom of the ends. The effect doesn't seems to come out right :D Well, have to try harder the next time.

The official test is on the 11 March, next coming Friday. Hope everyone has done their homework and have been practicing on their weakness :D

This very day that we have all been waiting for; the Hair Show from Loreal!
And it's the day when our school signs the contract with Loreal. I'm so proud of my school and my course!

Everyone was busy on this very day preparing and cleaning up the studio to look the best. Girls busy dolling themselves while the guys style their hair to look in their best. The lecturers never fail to be in their best outlooks too. Dressing up in formals and professional looks to entertain and welcome the guests.

Went to the Auditorium for the Hairshow and everyone was super excited about it. Brought cameras and handphone to snap memorable pictures. Was super surprise in not seeing 3 of our lecturers, Miss Leong, Miss Ang and Mr Lim. Thinking maybe they didn't attend school. Watched the Hairshow silently and everyone look serious while watching it.

Out of a sudden, when the MC is introducing the stylist out on stage, we spotted Miss Leong, Miss Ang and Mr Lim. Walking out of the backstage with glowing light. Shocked but impressed with what they have produced. The hairstyles that they have produce is like unbelievable and incredible. We clapped our hands and cheering for them loudly. We're so proud of having such lecturers.

After the show, we all rushed back to the studio for the opening ceremony of the hair training centre and the demostration. We all ran back and prepared for the next event and was super nervous. We were divided into 3 groups, the chemical group, the hairwashing group and lastly, the cutting group. All ready and started the demostration. The whole session end quite late before releasing. Everyone was relieve after working the whole day.
